To protect your privacy (and because it seems like every site has one of these), the EWJ Database provides this explanation about how your information is collected and used.  To make it easy to find, it is available from a link at the bottom of every page.

What Is Collected

Since this is just a fan site and there is no place for data to be submitted, this section only covers information collected from browsing. The information collected includes your IP address  (e.g. 192.0.32.10), user agent  (what browser and version you use; sometimes what features are enabled in your browser), the referrer  (what site you were at before this one, unless you typed the address).  Your browser may send more information; methods of finding out what your browser sends are outside the scope of this policy.  The information sent by your browser is generally not personally identifiable.

Two cookies are used by the software that runs this site. One is a session cookie and the other is a cookie that stores information about whether JavaScript is enabled in the browser.  Both cookies must be sent for the site to work properly, but the browser does not have to accept them.  No personally identifiable information is kept in these cookies.

How Information Is Used

The information mentioned above is logged for internal use only.  The information is used in the aggregate for purposes including, but not limited to:  checking browsers and versions used to visit the site (from the user agent) and what search terms are used to get here (from the referrer).  This information is not shared with third parties with the exception of the host that operates the server.

Children's Privacy

This site is not intended for children under 13.  (Children younger than 13 were not born when the last episode aired.)  Because this site is not intended for children under 13, is non-commercial and does not collect personally identifiable information, COPPA  information is not provided.
